Provenance

THE RHÔNE VALLEY IS A LAND STEEPED IN HISTORY,
a rich and storied landscape a world apart. Vines have grown on its slopes since 600 B. C., planted by the ancient Greeks and flourishing under the Romans.

Starting in the eighteenth century, the rare pêche de vigne, or “peach of the grapevine,” was born when growers planted peach trees in the heart of their vineyards.

JULIETTE’S™ EXCEPTIONAL PURITY AND COMPEXITY LIE IN THE KNOWLEDGE AND ARTISTRY INVOLVED IN ITS PRODUCTION.

Since every harvest season is different, every batch of Juliette™ involves immense care and produces only limited quantities.

Juillet july Juliette

Named after the French word Juillet for the summer month when these delicate and ephemeral heirloom peaches are hand-selected, Juliette captures the flavour of that moment in time.

Notre Process

Process image content

The finest pêche de vigne are picked in the Rhône Valley during late July, then delivered to our distillery in Bordeaux.

Step One
Process image content 2

Jean-François begins by selecting the best local handpicked pêche de vigne and macerating them whole in eau-de-vie for up to 5 weeks before adding sugar and 3-year-old
French brandy.

Step Two

The all-natural mixture is then carefully blended, decanted, and double-filtered for purity and bottling.

Testimonial Background

The French expression avoir la Pêche, which translates to “have the peach”, conveys being in good shape and high spirits. This cocktail lends itself to just that, with dry vermouth balancing Juliette's™ peachy sweetness, bitters giving a diffused orange-rose glow, and a crisp Brut lending its sophistication.
